Our Committees

The Saco River Corridor Commission has three established committees and the authority to create additional permanent and temporary committees as it finds appropriate. The current and active Saco River Corridor Commission Committees are:

The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee consists of the chairperson, 1st vice-chairperson, 2nd vice-chairperson, treasurer, and secretary.

Its purpose is to advise and confer with the executive director on various administrative, operational, and policy matters and to perform any other duties assigned to it by the Commission.

The Finance Committee

The Finance Committee consists of six Commission members.

Its main purpose is to prepare the annual budget and investigate and seek sources of funding. It also assumes other functions as directed by the Commission.

The Rules Committee

The Rules Committee consists of six Commission members who recommend rules for proceedings on deliberative and parliamentary matters and assume other functions as directed by the Commission.

The Regulatory Review Committee

The Regulatory Review Committee consists of six Commission members that review rule making changes. The Committee meets to develop and consider potential changes to the Commission’s performance standards to ensure all regulations effectively achieve the purpose of the Saco River Corridor Act.
