PUBLIC HEARING: On the matter of the time extension/amendment request for the University of New England Permit #20-491: this matter has been removed from the July 2nd agenda, and a separate date for a public hearing will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.

Upcoming Meetings

The permit application process takes about 8 weeks from application deadline to the issuance of a permit. Please plan ahead. We strongly encourage submitting applications in advance of the application deadline, and ensuring that application materials are complete to avoid further delays.

The Saco River Corridor: Protecting Maine’s Water is a half-hour video produced by Saco River Community Television with a grant from the Maine Outdoor Heritage Fund.

It features information on the Commission’s water quality monitoring program and explains the tremendous importance of safeguarding the Corridor’s water.
